About the Family

Our clients are an exceptional, loving family seeking an outstanding nanny to provide enriching, developmental care for their energetic 2-year-old son. They are expecting a newborn at the end of September 2025, and grandparents will be present to help with post-delivery recovery, meal preparation, and newborn care.

The nanny's primary focus will be ensuring their toddler continues thriving and receiving enrichment across all developmental areas. You'll also assist with light cleaning, cooking, and laundry tasks while the toddler naps, helping create stress-free, quality family time in the evenings.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of childcare experience

  • Child development expertise - ability to create enriching, age-appropriate activities and curriculum.

  • Exceptional communication skills - we value detailed updates and collaborative partnership. The family wants to stay informed about their son's development to maintain consistency between nanny and family approaches.

  • Meticulous attention to detail - bringing in a nanny is like welcoming another family member. Someone detail-oriented is essential for building the bond and trust this family values.

  • Trilingual household compatibility - We seek candidates comfortable speaking English and Hindi. Tamil fluency is a wonderful bonus.


Key Responsibilities:

Toddler's Daily Care & Development:

  • Facilitate engaging play time at home.

  • Lead morning and evening walks with the toddler (1 hour each).

  • Feed breakfast and lunch to the toddler.

  • Engage in active, educational play during designated periods.

  • Support potty training progress with patience and consistency.

  • Handle diaper changes as needed.

  • Create weekly curriculum plans and review with parents in advance.

  • Document toddler's developmental progress and share insights with parents to maintain household consistency.

Household Support (during nap time):

  • Prepare the toddler's dinner and provide morning cooking assistance when requested (family members will supervise the toddler during these times).

  • Daily cleaning of living room and kitchen areas where toddler and nanny spend most time (vacuuming/mopping).

  • Laundry and folding.

  • Loading/unloading dishwasher.

  • Maintaining an organized, child-safe environment.

Schedule Overview:

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday

  • 8:00-8:30 AM: Assist parents with food prep if requested or play time with the toddler.

  • 8:30-9:00 AM: Feed toddler breakfast.

  • 9:00-9:45 AM: Morning activities with the toddler.

  • 9:45-11:00 AM: Get ready and enjoy morning walk with the toddler.

  • 11:00-11:15 AM: Rest period after walking.

  • 11:15-11:45 AM: Feed lunch to the toddler.

  • 11:45-12:00 PM: Quiet time before toddler’s nap (mom facilitates nap routine).

  • 12:00-12:30 PM: Rest time for nanny.

  • 12:30-2:00 PM: Household tasks (dishwasher, laundry, cleaning, dinner prep).

  • 2:00-3:00 PM: Afternoon play and snack time with the toddler.

  • 3:00-3:45 PM: Afternoon walk with the toddler.

  • 4:00 PM: End of day

Application Requirements:

  1. Resume highlighting childcare experience

  2. 3-4 references from previous families.

  3. Current CPR and First Aid certification.

  4. Background check (share current check or we'll conduct as part of application process)
