About the Family

An exceptional, loving family seeking an outstanding nanny to provide enriching, developmental care for their energetic 2-year-old son. They are expecting a newborn at the end of September 2025; grandparents will help with post-delivery recovery, meal prep, and newborn care.

The nanny's primary focus will be ensuring the toddler continues thriving across developmental areas. You'll also assist with light cleaning, cooking, and laundry while the toddler naps.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of childcare experience.
  • Child development expertise — ability to create enriching, age-appropriate activities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Trilingual household compatibility — English and Hindi required; Tamil a wonderful bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Toddler's Daily Care & Development

  • Facilitate engaging play time at home.
  • Lead morning and evening walks with the toddler (1 hour each).
  • Feed breakfast and lunch.
  • Engage in active, educational play.
  • Support potty training with patience.
  • Handle diaper changes as needed.
  • Create weekly curriculum plans and review with parents.
  • Document developmental progress.

Household Support (during nap time)

  • Prepare toddler's dinner; morning cooking assistance when requested.
  • Daily cleaning of living room and kitchen.
  • Laundry and folding.
  • Loading/unloading dishwasher.

Schedule Overview (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

  • 8:00–8:30 AM: Food prep or play with the toddler.
  • 8:30–9:00 AM: Feed toddler breakfast.
  • 9:00–9:45 AM: Morning activities.
  • 9:45–11:00 AM: Morning walk.
  • 11:00–11:15 AM: Rest period.
  • 11:15–11:45 AM: Lunch.
  • 11:45–12:00 PM: Quiet time before nap.
  • 12:00–12:30 PM: Rest time for nanny.
  • 12:30–2:00 PM: Household tasks.
  • 2:00–3:00 PM: Afternoon play and snack.
  • 3:00–3:45 PM: Afternoon walk.
  • 4:00 PM: End of day.
