About the Role
Nanny Spark is seeking a compassionate, patient, and highly experienced Night Nanny to care for a newborn in a loving Waterloo home. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in newborn care, overnight feeding, and soothing techniques to ensure the baby's comfort and the family's peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing care to the newborn during overnight hours.
- Feed, burp, change, and comfort the baby as needed.
- Monitor and track sleep, feeding, and diaper changes.
- Maintain a clean and organized sleep environment.
- Offer guidance to parents on newborn sleep routines and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience caring for newborns, especially overnight.
- CPR/First Aid certified (infant-specific).
- Knowledge of safe sleep practices and infant development.
- Calm, reliable, and adaptable demeanor.
- Non-smoker; comfortable in a pet-friendly home if applicable.
